At United Way of Bucks County, we’re evolving to better reflect the lasting change that you help create.
Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to measure what works, strengthen the most effective programs, and invest more where it matters most. That’s why we’re refreshing how we talk about our work – making it clearer, stronger, and more focused on the big-picture impact you make possible.
This update is part of a global United Way brand refresh, designed to help us inspire even more people to get involved and unite around meaningful change.
What’s New?
We’ve updated our impact areas to better reflect both local and global priorities – and the real, measurable change happening in our community.
Here’s what’s new:
- Youth Opportunity (formerly Expand Education)
Helping kids learn and thrive year-round - Healthy Community (formerly Fight Hunger)
Expanding access to food and nutrition - Financial Security (formerly Stabilize Families)
Empowering people to achieve long-term stability - Community Resiliency (formerly Grow the HELP Center)
Providing essential resources when they’re needed most
Why This Matters
This isn’t just about changing labels – it’s about communicating impact.
The updated brand reflects how we meet urgent needs today and invest in long-term solutions that help people and communities thrive.
This evolution also helps us better connect with new donors and volunteers, especially at a time when charitable engagement is in decline across the country. With a clearer story and a renewed voice, we can bring more people into the work – and create even greater impact.
What’s Not Changing
We’re still your local United Way. We remain deeply committed to Bucks County – and to mobilizing the caring power of our community to improve lives.
Your support continues to fuel the programs, partnerships, and progress that make a difference right here at home.
What’s Next
Our refreshed impact areas are already guiding our work in 2025 and beyond. Soon, you’ll see this new language on our website, in our reports, and throughout our campaigns. As always, we’ll continue to share the real-life stories of how your support changes lives.
United is the Way we create lasting change – together.
